About the Role:
SparkBrains is looking for a Senior Data Scientist/AI Engineer to work on design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise across traditional AI as well as modern Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with AI teams, mentoring engineers, making architectural decisions, and delivering production-ready AI solutions for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions from concept to production.
- Architect scalable AI systems using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI.
- Build RAG applications, AI Assistants, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define AI strategies and solution architectures.
- Optimize AI models for accuracy, scalability, and production performance.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and introduce best practices within the team.
Required Skills:
Programming: Python (Expert), SQL, FastAPI/Flask, REST APIs, Git, Docker.
Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Strong experience with supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and model optimization.
Computer Vision: Hands-on experience with OpenCV, YOLO, OCR, image/video analytics, object detection, and segmentation.
Natural Language Processing (NLP): Experience with Transformers, Hugging Face, embeddings, semantic search, NER, document intelligence, and text processing.
Generative AI: Experience building production-ready applications using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, RAG, prompt engineering, function calling, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector, etc.).
Agentic AI: Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP, and building AI agents, multi-agent systems, and workflow automation.
Cloud & MLOps: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, and CI/CD pipelines.
Communication Skills:
We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate should:
- Communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- Explain complex AI concepts in simple business language.
- Lead technical discussions and solution presentations.
- Write clear technical documentation.
- Be proactive, collaborative, and capable of driving teams independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience building production-grade AI products.
- Exposure to LLM fine-tuning, GraphRAG, Speech AI, or Knowledge Graphs is a plus.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications are an added advantage.
