We are seeking a motivated Data Scientist Intern to join our growing Analytics team for some or all of the school year (and potentially beyond!). The ideal candidate will have some experience in data analysis or related fields, with a foundation in SQL and Python. They should be comfortable working with data pipelines, creating reports, and collaborating with engineers to implement effective tracking solutions. This role offers significant growth potential for someone passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions in the fintech space. Qualifications: Proficiency in SQL (understanding of data querying concepts; exact syntax knowledge not required) Knowledge of Python, particularly with data manipulation libraries like Pandas Exposure to BI tools (Looker Studio, Looker, Metabase) Conceptual understanding of the data journey and ELT/ETL processes Understanding of ML and AI algorithms (conceptual knowledge of how they work and how they can be applied to business problems) Proficiency with Cursor/Windsurf and prompt engineering.
