[Remote] SVP of Marketing at Convoso
Most roles at Convoso function as “hybrid” with some opportunities for travel to in-person business events and company meetings. Convoso currently employs remote team members in several U.S. states, including AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MI, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA. The Role
SVP of Marketing (Growth & Revenue)
Convoso is a bootstrapped, profitable outbound dialing platform with strong ARR growth, and we're looking for a builder, not a manager of existing systems. Reporting to the CEO, the SVP of Marketing will own the full marketing function and lead Convoso's transition from a growth-stage company to a category-defining market leader. This means establishing a clear, differentiated position in the market, building a predictable demand generation engine from the ground up, and ensuring that story lands consistently across the full go-to-market motion.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has done this before at a comparable stage. You will step into a company with a strong product, a loyal customer base, real commercial momentum, and an AI product roadmap that represents a significant growth opportunity. Your mandate is to build the marketing function that takes Convoso to $100M and beyond. You will leverage AI and agentic tools to drive output without scaling headcount linearly.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
Experience: 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, with a proven track record of scaling SaaS companies from $20M to $100M+ ARR.
Growth Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and complex performance marketing.
Financial Acumen: Experience managing large-scale budgets and a history of achieving 1x to 4x increases in ROI through strategic optimization.
Executive Presence: Comfortable working directly with Founders.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; a technical understanding of the CCaaS landscape is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline & Revenue Contribution
Own marketing’s contribution to pipeline generation and revenue growth.
Build and scale a predictable demand generation engine aligned with Convoso’s revenue goals.
Establish clear metrics and accountability for marketing performance tied to sales outcomes.
Product Marketing & Market Positioning
Partner closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to define and refine Convoso’s positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for key markets and ICP segments.
Ensure product value and differentiation are translated into clear messaging that resonates across sales conversations, website, events, and partner channels.
Collaborate with product leadership to align product strategy, product marketing, and demand generation efforts.
Sales Alignment & GTM Strategy
Partner closely with sales leadership to strengthen go-to-market strategy and improve conversion performance.
Ensure marketing programs support the realities of outbound sales motions and buying behavior.
Establish strong feedback loops between sales insights and marketing strategy.
Marketing Team Leadership
Lead, develop, and scale Convoso’s marketing organization
Establish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations across the team.
Build a high-performing demand generation function capable of supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Marketing Communications & Market Presence
Oversee Convoso’s external narrative and communications across industry channels, events, and digital presence.
Ensure marketing communications reinforce Convoso’s credibility and positioning within the market.
Align communications strategy with demand generation and product marketing efforts.
Operational Leadership
Ensure disciplined planning, measurement, and optimization across marketing initiatives.
Diagnose performance issues and drive improvements to marketing programs, team structure, or strategy as needed.
Maintain alignment across marketing, sales, product, and executive leadership on growth priorities.
AI-Driven Marketing Operations
Drive the use of AI and automation across marketing workflows to increase the output and effectiveness of the marketing organization.
Continuously identify opportunities where AI can accelerate research, content creation, campaign development, analysis, and execution.
Prioritize leveraging technology and automation to scale marketing impact before expanding headcount.
Compensation:
The base salary range is: $250,000 - $300,000.
The Base Pay Range for this position is based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and the company's compensation strategies. However, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other objective business. Convoso’s compensation package also includes equity for all eligible U.S full time roles and exceptional benefits, including generous 401k match.
