Social Media Content Designer (Unpaid Internship) at GoodLife Location: Remote Employment Type: Internship Reports To: Social Media Manager / Project Manager About the Role We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Designer to join our growing digital team. You’ll be responsible for designing engaging, scroll-stopping content for platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and TikTok, aligned with our brand’s visual identity and marketing strategy. This role is ideal for a designer who understands social media trends, storytelling, and conversion-driven design, and can turn ideas into visuals that attract, educate, and inspire our audience. Key Responsibilities Design and produce high-quality graphics, carousels, infographics, Reels covers, and promotional visuals for social media. Collaborate with the content strategist, copywriter, and marketing lead to translate ideas and campaigns into visual formats. Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity across all social platforms. Create Pinterest pins, Instagram carousels, stories, and YouTube thumbnails optimised for each platform’s format and algorithm. Design assets for email newsletters, blog posts, and lead magnets when required. Stay updated on social media trends, visual storytelling techniques, and platform best practices. Organise and manage design templates, assets, and file libraries for efficient reuse. Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, values, and marketing goals. Skills & Qualifications Essential: Proven experience creating designs for Instagram, Pinterest, or TikTok (portfolio required). Proficiency in Canva. Understanding of visual hierarchy, colour psychology, and social media engagement principles. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple design projects simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred: Experience with short-form video design (e.g., Reel templates, motion graphics). Familiarity with brand marketing, SEO, or social media strategy.
