Our product supports the full RFP response process by helping teams identify relevant opportunities, assess fit, and prepare proposal responses. Customers use the platform in regulated, high-stakes environments where accuracy, speed, and execution directly affect outcomes.
This role is central to how the company builds pipeline, converts interest into customers, and scales its go-to-market efforts. The work performed in this position has a direct connection to closed business and overall company momentum.
The Sales Development Representative initiates and advances conversations with prospective customers. Responsibilities include digital outbound outreach and phone-based engagement, qualifying inbound leads, following up with prospects from events and partner channels, and supporting opportunities through the sales process. The role involves working closely with founders, executives, business development leaders, capture managers, and proposal teams at companies actively pursuing government contracts. Success comes from understanding customer needs, identifying real buying intent, and moving opportunities forward in a disciplined and consistent way.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who bring a practical, execution-oriented approach to sales and customer engagement, including:
Demonstrated experience in lead generation, sales development, or account management
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships over time
Comfort using CRM systems and sales tracking tools
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active conversations
Self-directed work style and comfort operating in a fully remote environment
Experience in B2B sales or a SaaS environment is helpful but not required
Comfort learning and working with AI-enabled software products, and explaining their value clearly to customers
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
This position includes commission tied to closed revenue. Performance is evaluated based on contribution, not activity alone. As the company grows, individuals who consistently deliver results may take on broader responsibility, including progression toward an account executive role with increased ownership of deals and customer relationships.
In the first several months, success in this role looks like building a consistent outbound rhythm, developing a strong understanding of the product and customer use cases, and contributing meaningfully to qualified pipeline and closed business. Over time, the expectation is increased ownership of opportunities and deeper involvement in customer conversations.
This role is well suited for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to revenue, and the opportunity to grow alongside a company as it scales. It is not a passive role and rewards people who are comfortable taking ownership, learning quickly, and engaging directly with customers.
This is a full-time, W-2, exempt position offering a competitive base salary, commission on closed revenue, and quarterly performance bonuses tied to objectives. The role is fully remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates based in Texas. This position is intended for individuals who want to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibility over time.
