We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Solution Consultant (Presales Engineer) with expertise in the Cyber Security field to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the sales process by providing technical expertise, delivering compelling presentations, and demonstrating the value of our security solutions to potential clients. Especially focus on partner corroboration through enablement and joint selling.The Solution Consultant must be highly collaborative, not only supporting the sales teams as he or she will work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and marketing teams, to implement the initiatives underlying the sales strategy. This person will be responsible for the presenting and demonstrating data protection & cybersecurity solutions and services. In addition, you will partner with the entire Global Solutions Consultant team to drive value for our SMB business unit within OpenText key Responsibilities Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer and partner requirements and develop tailored solutions using our Cyber Security products. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions to showcase the capabilities and benefits of OpenText products. Provide technical guidance and support to customers throughout the sales cycle, addressing any technical concerns or questions. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Cyber Security solutions, including their features, functionalities, and integration capabilities. Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and other sales-related documents. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the Cyber Security space. Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote our solutions and engage with potential customers. Lead initiatives such as Enablement and POC to drive partner business in collaboration with global and sales teams. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in a presales or technical consulting role, preferably within the Security industry. (5+ years’ experience) Strong knowledge of Security products, including hands-on experience with their deployment and configuration. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset. Utilizing AI in various business situations Understanding of software sales & partner contract processes. Understanding of Public Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud concepts Fluency in Japanese; proficiency in English is a plus Key Challenges to Overcome As with many positions at OpenText, flexibility is a requirement.
