Platform Engineer (Backend + Infrastructure) at Sagepilot AI
Looking for someone who enjoys owning infrastructure, deployments, reliability, scaling, and backend systems — not someone looking for a comfortable maintenance job.
You'll work directly with the CTO and be responsible for helping build the engineering foundation of the company.
Our stack: AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, FastAPI, Go, PostgreSQL, Next.js.
What you'll work on
Build and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
Design and maintain deployment pipelines, environments, and release workflows.
Improve reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
Manage containerized workloads and orchestration systems.
Work on backend services powering core product workflows.
Optimize system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Build internal tooling that improves developer productivity.
Work closely with the CTO on architecture decisions and platform evolution.
Help establish engineering best practices as the team grows.
