Peptide Research Scientist at Miro Biotech
Miro Biotech develops and supplies research-grade peptides to labs and independent researchers in 60+ countries. We're hiring a scientist to lead our work on novel peptide sequences and own quality across the catalog.
What you'll do:
Design and evaluate novel peptide sequences and modifications for in-vitro research applications
Run stability, solubility, and activity assessments on new candidates before they go to market
Work with synthesis partners to push what's feasible: new conjugates, unusual amino acid substitutions, longer chains
Review third-party HPLC and mass spec data for every batch we release
Write certificates of analysis and build out QC documentation as we scale
What "great" looks like after 12 months:
You've brought 3+ novel peptides to market that nobody else carries. Researchers are ordering from us specifically because we have sequences they can't find elsewhere. QC runs without bottlenecks and every COA ships same-day.
