Associate Growth Strategy Director at DTCo
Associate Growth Strategy Directors play a vital role in customer acquisition and retention for our portfolio of clients. You’ll be hands-on with Meta, TikTok, Search and YouTube for some of the most cutting edge brands while actively collaborating in the building of client relationships, strategy planning, and performance management of accounts with senior management. This person holds a deep level of technical experience and feels confident managing client relationships, and leading/growing a team. They are eager to find new ideas and opportunities to help clients grow while further developing their own leadership skills in both client and team management.
This role works in partnership with a Strategy Director and will delegate across internal teams.
Responsibilities
Growth Strategy
You’ll develop a deep understanding of clients’ brands and business models, help them think through the problems they face, and bring guidance and ideas to the table. You’ll collaborate with Creative and Analytics teams to elevate our approach. Ideal candidates are motivated to lead plans for a handful of accounts.
Performance Management
You’ll be up to speed on how core paid channels play a role in client growth and how DTCo utilizes them to optimize on executive goals and marginal efficiency. You’ll coordinate flawless, best-in-class account launches and optimizations across Meta, TikTok and Google. You’ll provide occasional support on clients outside of M-F working hours due to peak promo moments and the nature of high scale accounts. This includes client interfacing, projection ownership and management, internal documentation and maintaining flawless QA standards. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented.
Analyze + Optimize for Performance Goals
You’ll be responsible for day to day ad account optimizations in relation to client growth strategy, pacing goals, and industry trends. You’ll use data to develop and scale paid campaigns to maximize efficiency and implement tests. You’ll own client monthly planning and projections with oversight and support from your Senior Director. Ideal candidates want to be a best-in-class media buyer.
Creative Analytics + Production
You’ll live and breathe creative. This role works directly with clients and the creative team, delivering insights, competitor analysis and recommendations for how to produce and design engaging ads. Ideal candidates care about consumer psychology and social media trends.
Client Communication & Service
You’ll own communication with clients as their primary point of contact. This includes: leading calls for weekly agendas, overseeing and coaching direct reports leading on calls, leading monthly check in calls with clients to maintain client relationships, weekly agendas, performance plans, creative requests, client calls, and any odds and ends that arise. Ideal candidates appreciate how clear communication and expectation setting can lead to good relationships internally and externally.
Team Management
You’ll help hire and build up talent. The entire team participates in this but your manager, the Director of Strategy, will be responsible for connecting the dots of development to client application. You’ll also be a leader in helping the team prioritize workload relative to importance.
Qualifications
Deep experience with hands on keyboard Paid Social and Search channel management, preferably in an agency environment.
Confident organizing ideas, distilling and communicating internally and externally.
Experience managing and mentoring a team of 2 or more.
Experience planning projections cross-channel for clients.
Experience in Google Sheets/Excel data manipulation.
Solid experience with DTCo core channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube). Bonus: relative experience with other channels: Affiliate, Influencer, etc.
Deep understanding of core growth KPIs such as: CPM, CTR, CPC, CVR, CAC, ROAS.
Experience with testing and reporting across strategies, creative and landing pages.
Comfortable working in an EST timezone schedule.
