Software Developer at Compara Online Role Objective: Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions at Compara that generate significant impact on key business metrics such as cost reduction, customer service improvement, process acceleration, and more. What will you do? Lead the design of AI solutions for current and future projects. Advocate for solutions considering architecture, cost, timeline, risks, and success metrics. Translate business needs into clear and measurable technical requirements. Rapidly prototype solutions to validate hypotheses and accelerate learning. Coordinate cross-functional teams: data, engineering, product, and sales. Evaluate vendors and technology stack: models, infrastructure, evaluation tools, security, and monitoring. Define and track KPIs for AI initiatives. Prepare demos and technical documentation for delivered projects. Who are we looking for? Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions to production. Hands-on knowledge of LLMs and GenAI: advanced prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, evaluation. Strong prototyping skills (ideally in Python). Solid understanding of solution architecture: APIs, microservices, data pipelines, vector DBs, observability. Familiarity with model and product quality metrics: accuracy, latency, cost, adoption, among others. Ability to create technical and commercial proposals with clear estimates and trade-offs. Product-oriented mindset: prioritization, experimentation, and business impact focus. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. Nice-to-haves: Experience in insurance, financial services, or aggregator/comparator platforms. Knowledge of AI security: PII, DLP, risk evaluation. Systematic evaluation of LLMs: evaluation suites, golden sets. Experience working with stakeholders in consultative sales processes. Portfolio of AI demos or public repositories. Experience automating processes with AI: agents, workflows, integrations.
