Lifecycle Marketing Contractor (Ecommerce Marketplace) at One Bison
One Bison (onebison.us) is a business directory and marketplace connecting Americans with American-made, veteran-owned, family-owned, and small businesses. Every listing is reviewed by a real person on our team. We're launching ecommerce with a curated vendor cohort and need someone to own the customer lifecycle from day one.
What you'll do
Build our user CRM and email infrastructure (segments, flows, integrations)
Design and launch transactional flows: order confirmed, shipped, delivered, review request
Build post-purchase and win-back sequences
Set the cadence for retention-driving campaigns (new business announcements, gift guides, favorites)
Define the retention metrics we track: repeat purchase rate, email engagement, LTV
What we're looking for
3+ years lifecycle/retention marketing for ecommerce or marketplaces
Deep Klaviyo (or similar as the platform isn't decided) experience: you've built accounts from scratch, not just run campaigns in existing ones
Comfortable working with developers on event tracking and API integrations
You can show flows you've built and the numbers they moved
